Creation is Silence in activity.
Silence is the basis of life and the home of the Inner Self, the individualized aspect of God within creation – the Soul. From communion with this Inner Self - Love, Peace, Wisdom and Joy flow naturally into the very act of everyday living. Spirit and nature are joined and healed and we begin to live the full value of life as human beings– not from the acute awareness of wants and needs incomplete, but from the vast fullness of our true Divine Nature expressing the power, intelligence and fulfillment of Spirit within.
Silence is the basis of all higher states of consciousness; the unity with God that transcends the mind’s ability to perceive and understand. The Soul, only aware of itself as body, mind and senses, is ego. The Soul knowing Itself is enlightenment. The Soul knowing Itself as Its Source is God Realization.
The StillPoint Silent Retreat is a balance of spiritual knowledge and direct experience of the Inner Self and the Source of Self. It is a celebration of the quiet Divinity within which is the home of all we struggle to find outside. Each retreat has a theme, but each retreat experience is the same. It is a deepening in the knowledge of “I AM.” It is an opening of the heart to the Love of our Divine Beloved and it is a deep experience of going Home.
Retreats are kept small to maximize personal attention for each individual. No more than approximately forty-five participants are accepted for each event. These smaller groups are quieter and can be more focused.

In these CONTEMPLATIVE (deepening) Retreats we use three practices: Meditation, Contempletion and Prayer to allow the Divine Presence to reveal Itself as our very Being, and to manifest Itself in the graceful unfolding of our lives.
These are advanced retreats for those who want to delve deeply into the profound Silence of Mystical Spirituality, either for the first time, or to strengthen and vitalize their experience of Silence from previous StillPoint Retreats.

This retreat expounds the sole mystical teaching that there is only ONE whose Will and forms pervade all of creation. We will see how each of the six primary spiritual schools have embraced and taught this non-dualistic approach in their sacred scriptures. For the most part, this is not a beginners retreat.
