Mystical Spirituality

Over the years, many of us have left traditional religion searching for something that is bigger than we are; something that gives meaning and fulfillment in a world of continuous change and disappointment.  The great saints and philosophers of both East and West have repeatedly told us that what we are looking for is hidden deep within.  It is the "pearl of great price," or the "Kingdom of Heaven within."  They have taught that nothing short of the direct experience of God will ever fill our need for wholeness, fulfillment, joy and love beyond measure.

Essence Takes Form

Form Differentiates

Then Returns to Essence

"The desire of Spirit to enjoy Its singular nature in many forms, spawns this drama of the Universal Cosmic Dream.  Here we know Creation as an act of going out from Source; a descent to matter.  And Spiritual Evolution is, in fact, the reversal of the creation process - the Ascent to Source."

Mystical Spirituality is the essence

of all religions and spiritual traditions.

All forms, from subatomic particles to universes, are programmed to follow sequentially three primary commands: go forth and experience; become all you can be and come back Home.  StillPoint Silent Retreats is about introducing the principles and methods of the Mystical Path of Coming Home; a path which transcends "age," dogma, religion, culture and personal ego.

This path transcends the limited

ego's desire to create personal reality

and fulfills the Soul's Destiny

to know and become One

with Ultimate Reality.

It is about experiencing the permanent fulfillment and Bliss of the Soul, in place of the transitory pleasures and pains of the limited ego self.

Silence structures consciousness.

It is about moving the point of identification from "I am the body, mind, and senses" to "I Am the Inner Self" who is experiencing, through the body, mind and senses, forever knowing the inner states of undisturbed Love, Peace, Wisdom and Joy.

Suffering is the natural consequence of

the separation from God and our inner Self.

It is living outside of Unity as a separate entity bound by the karmic laws and consequences of thoughts, deeds, and feelings that are alien to this Oneness.  Pain on this earth plane is part of having a body and all that goes with the extreme paradox of being Pure Spirit, locked in a small human form with needs, desires and cravings inherited from its primitive physical and psychological nature.

The human being returning to God is

the pinnacle of Creation.

The Consent to God's Presence Within

The picture of the hands in prayer is symbolic of a Silent Retreat.  A Silent Retreat is a time of "consent to God's Presence within."  Having no dogma or alliance with any specific religion, teacher, lifestyle, or spiritual tradition, our techniques are universal, simple and effective.  We practice the approach of the Divine Feminine which is called Mystical Spirituality - the perspective that there is only One taking on the myriad of forms as creation with Love as its basis and Peace as its fruit.  This tradition is the foundation of contemplative spirituality taken from the monastic cloisters and presented to a modern day society of householders with everyday responsibilities.  There is no need to change your life, but to infuse it with Life Itself.

The path to our inner nature is a simple one.  So simple, that it is overlooked in our rush to fill our lives with more and more of that which we are not truly seeking.  It is a subtle shift in focus and an expansion of perspective.  The path is an allowing for Silence and a silencing of the noise that conceals the higher states of consciousness.  It is a reversal and balance of the life energy from an exclusive focus out into the excitation of the world, to a gentle upward and inward flow into the Eternal Self within.
